We’re all about confidence at Girls Rock Math and in this camp, confidence is queen. Through hands-on problem-solving, crafts, and games, campers will see that truly, all girls count! This week is packed with our favorite activities, considered to be the “best of the best” by staff and campers alike. From constructing castles, to finding out just what is at the end of the rainbow, campers will celebrate their unique creativity and see just how awesome math is! Enter the beautiful Kruckeberg Botanic Garden, where numbers bloom and math meets nature as campers discover the patterns, shapes, and symmetry found within the forest. The garden comes to life as campers imagine (and maybe believe in) the fairies that reside there, who might just be the ones leaving puzzles to solve and riddles to answer throughout the week. Campers will embark on a mathemagical journey as they use geometry, measurement, mental math, logic, and reasoning as they explore the environment, create art, and engineer fairy houses using natural and recycled materials. Math has never been so enchanting!
Globe trotters, get ready for your next adventure! In Math Explorers, campers will use their super problem-solving skills to uncover a mathematical mystery as they take an imaginary journey across the seven continents. Passports and plane tickets in hand, campers will play games, make crafts, and solve problems as they take part in an unforgettable journey!
Campers will embark on STEM-inspired adventures through beloved fairytales with a fun, mathematical twist! In our reimagined stories, classic characters like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Goldilocks are no longer just princesses—they’re brave, resourceful problem solvers using science, technology, engineering, and math to save the day. Inspired by these fierce, clever heroines, campers will work together to conquer math challenges, explore geometry, use engineering design to find creative solutions, and measure their way to a happily ever after. Along the way, they’ll develop teamwork, critical thinking, and a love for learning in this magical, math-filled world.
Get ready to enter a world of imagination where girls and their dolls explore math together. At Mini Math, dolls aren’t just for fun and games, they become tools for mathematical exploration as campers use their dolls to measure, collect data, and solve problems through a variety of hands-on activities. Campers will explore geometry, measurement, money, engineering design and more as they make tiny accessories, games, and food for their dolls. In this week of creative math exploration tiny mathematicians are sure to have big adventures!
Cat person? Dog person? All around animal lover? Pawsitive Numbers is the camp where math and critter cuteness collide! Get ready for a week filled with pawsome art, purrplexing puzzles, and furry fun as girls embark on creative math explorations alongside a favorite stuffed animal! A stuffy isn’t just a toy- at camp we use them to measure, graph, sort, classify and compare! Campers will use their cuddly creatures to explore geometry, fractions, addition, subtraction, mathematical patterns and more in this pawsitively unfurgettable experience!
SMArt stands for Science, Math and Art and that’s what you’ll get in this fun-filled week of experiments, investigations, and art projects. Campers become engineers, scientists, artists, and mathematicians as they dance a computer code, explore electricity with squishy circuits, and design a pom-pom launcher. Hands-on projects bring math to life as campers measure, collect data, add, subtract, problem-solve, and more. At Girls Rock Math, all girls get to show off their smarts!
Glitter, gems, and geometry galore! Creativity meets computation in this week-long camp where your young artist will explore a variety of math concepts and topics all while getting messy with math (and crafts!) With projects like fraction face self-portraits, measurement bracelets, and symmetry sculptures, campers will be making math into art with every twist of the glue stick and splash of paint. Nope, we're not going back in time to the 1960's! We're exploring groovy math and art through flowery fun. Campers will find inspiration in nature as they discover mathematical patterns in flower petals, create fraction flowers, bead some blossoms, and design symmetry flower pendants. Make your own Magic 8 ball, shock your friends with sneaky card tricks, build a box that can make objects disappear, and more in this mind-blowing week of crafts, riddles, puzzles, and problem-solving! Get out of your seat and leap into math! Explore fractions through dance, collect data while jumping rope, and practice computation with tag! Campers will run, chase, jump and play their way through measurement, multiplication, graphing and more. They’ll learn about strategy and probability as they design their own board games, one to take home and a life-size outdoor board game they play outside. This camp will have girls on their feet and having a blast, not just doing the math, but moving and grooving with math!
Show off your unique style in this week-long camp where wearable crafts and math merge. Each day girls will make and create fashionably-fun designs to correspond with topics such as probability, measurement, computation, and place value. From running and jumping like Wilma Rudolph to making and cracking codes like Hedy Lamar, campers will explore measurement, multiplication, estimation and more. Campers dive into activities that define "girl power” by exploring the deepest depths of the ocean with Sylvia Earle and the incredible distance of the moon with Katherine Johnson. Join the first-ever GRM Mars Colony and discover what it takes to live on another planet. Build space stations, launch rockets, and engineer space pods to return to Earth. We’ll chart the distances between planets and explore the math behind space exploration. But the adventure doesn't stop there! Campers will also craft dazzling space-themed projects, creating glittering, shimmering art projects that reflect the beauty of the cosmos. Get ready for a week of stellar discovery and hands-on space exploration—where math, creativity, and curiosity come together as we reach for the stars and venture into the unknown.

In the GRM Design Studio, campers will unleash their inner math-diva using decimals, fractions, percentages, and multiplication/division skills to create a fashion portfolio. Girls will make hair accessories, use physics to find out how far they can fling a Barbie, and learn to draw human proportions- all using math! We're not just creating fashion; we're creating a positive and empowering space for every math-loving fashionista. We will break down fashion stereotypes and talk about body image, and what it means to be strong and confident in who you are. Be the trendsetter, the problem-solver, the math fashionista – because at Girls Rock Math, every equation is a statement piece.
Calling all super sleuths and CSI’s! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, uncover the math and science secrets of espionage. Campers will become Agents of STEM, entering the forensics lab to crack codes, analyze fingerprints, unravel cryptography, and more. Teamwork is the key to cracking each case, then top off the week by designing your own escape room adventure. Grab your detective cap and get ready to join us on a spy-tacular adventure.
Do you love DIY? Dreaming about redecorating your room? Future interior designers will be given a budget and the tools to design a 3D mini-room with working lights. Campers will use measurement skills, multiplication, division, work with area, perimeter, scale and ratio. But we aren’t just thinking about the small stuff! Crafty campers will also create decor items to spruce up their own space, making geometric luminary lights, chalkboard door hangers and a corkboard for their bedroom- all made with a math twist! Get ready for a math makeover in this creative week of calculation, captivation and decoration!
Hold onto your safety goggles and get ready to bubble over with curiosity! Our equation for fun: infuse fractions, multiplication, measurement conversions, and other math skills with experiments that literally POP! Campers' concoctions will glow in the dark, bubble, fizz, and undergo dazzling color transformations as they safely investigate chemical reactions. Not only will campers create chemistry- themed art like chromatography flowers, periodic table jewelry, and salt crystal paintings, but you can bet there will be slime involved! Chemistry, crafts, and getting messy with math add up to a week of “wow” at Girls Rock Math!
